Men's Rubber Harness, Steel Coils Strap-on Cleats, Black, Size Extra-Large is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 41.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Couldn't work without them I'm a Paramedic in the northeast and can't fall in icy winter conditions. Not an option. I've had the same pair of Yaktrax Pro for 10 years and this year I decided to treat myself to another spare pair. Highly recommended for durability and performance.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing I discovered these 4 or 5 years ago. So impressed, I bought $400 worth to give to friends & family at Christmas. My daughter used them immediately to jog in snow/ice. She has been using the same pair since-just recently in Portland Oregon's heavy snow (Jan 2017). I use mine to walk 1-2 miles each time it snows(not every year). I feel very safe wearing them. I saw YakTrax selling at the Tigard, Oregon Costco in November, where I bought n extra pair to keep in my car.. If wearing hiking boots, buy a size larger, because they can be difficult to stretch in place.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ease of use, excellent product Recently purchased this product in prep for an outing on the snow. Used it on snow, ice, and slush and kept me and my son safe. Allowed me to feel safe on the snow and enjoy my time outdoor.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Helping me enjoy winter hiking I've had a few pair of Yaktrax. The addition of a strap was a plus. The biggest minus is that the metal coils and disconnect and the rubber strips break within a fairly short time. A pair doesn't even last me a year now. However, I still wear them because I love winter hiking and they really help with the traction.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I just got mine and they already broke :( I have used them on a total of four hikes, always walking in the snow, total of maybe 10 hours on my boots. The rubber already snapped on the heel connection. I loved them until that happened. definitely made it easy not to slip on packed and powdery trails.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Broke on second use. Received as a gift last Christmas. Not used until this year. Broke on second use. One of the rubber bands around which the steel coils are wrapped broke.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Daily farm use on steep slopes all winter Just starting into my second winter using Yaktrax Pro. On the plus side, they definitely prevent slipping on the smoothest ice even on my steep terrain, and they have so far lasted one entire winter and one month of this winter. On the con side, they will come off my boots even though the sizing was per manufacturer's chart, and they are in fact pretty hard to stretch into place over the boots. The instep strap is a must to keep from losing them somewhere in the pasture when they work loose. I lost the first pair of "walkers" this way and that's why I now use the "pro".The other problem is that the wires are simply spiraled around the rubber strings without any definite connection that I can see to hold the ends in place, and the wire ends readily unspiral during use. This means frequent snags of sharp points sticking out the sides of your boots onto leaves, twigs, your doormat, etc., requiring frequent manual replacement of the wire spiral ends back on the rubber band under the foot, including potentially poking the sharp end of the wire into your fingers. Still, it beats a broken leg from a slip on the ice!
