Product Details

The Brady® Visual Lockout Procedure Authoring Service is designed to meet OSHA compliance, and help you create the foundation for a successful and sustainable lockout program. Employee understanding is the key to lockout compliance. Lockout procedures only benefit employees if they are easily understood, standardized, and accessible. As a result, best practice visual procedures are becoming an essential element to maintaining compliance, enhancing employee safety, and keeping your operations running smoothly.

What Is The Service?
Brady’s field engineers come onsite to gather machine-specific information for the procedures and install color-coded energy tags onto sources. Once the information is collected, the engineer will then author the machine/equipment specific, Type 1 lockout procedures and route the procedures for your approval. After procedure approval, Brady will print, laminate, and ship your new lockout procedures, along with digital procedure copies.

What are the Benefits?
In addition to Brady’s Client Services experienced field engineers with 10-26 years of hands-on experience, Brady’s process emphasizes partnership and collaboration with your team that helps you not only get compliant procedures, but most importantly maintain the procedures in-house. Once the service is completed you will not only have compliant procedures, but also a standardized template, standardized terminology, and the knowledge of how to continue advancing your lockout program.

• All lockout procedures Brady authors not only meet OSHA compliance requirements, but also incorporate industry best practices including step-by-step visuals that provide clear instructions for safely locking out equipment and encourage employee usage. Best practice procedures not only save money in loss time, but more importantly save lives.

• Many providers have years of experience, but Brady takes this service one step further by building sustainability into the offering. This ensures you not only get compliant, but maintain compliance.

• Once the service is completed you will have a standardized visual template to utilize within your current facility, or across multiple sites.

Note: Contact your Grainger Account Manager or Territory Sales Representative to learn more about how to not only get OSHA compliant, but stay OSHA compliant.
