Rated 3 out of 5 by from The Fan Noise is Driving me Crazy The fan runs constantly and in a small office, the noise is a constant distraction. Hopefully my IT guy will be able to mitigate this problem udon acoustic insulation. But this unit only if it will be placed away from people.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from still works with original battery after 39 months As indicated in my previous review, the unit is reliable and still works after 39 months, still have the original battery. I upgrade the rating to 4 stars (from my previous 3 stars) but not 5 stars because of the high pitch, ear-drum busting horn. The product will be excellent if Tripp-lite makes change about the horn.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Customer Service on BCPro 1400 Unit We have this unit running 24/7/365 at our CPA office. We registered it when we put it into service just under 2 years ago. When the unit failed, we called customer service, did a little bit of trouble shooting and they determined that the batteries were good, but the unit had an electronics issue. They cheerfully shipped us a new replacement unit at no cost to us! Now *that* is good customer service! Thank you for standing behind your products.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from reliable performance but need some improvement I have used this product for 1.5 years. It has performed well whenever there is an outage. I no longer worry about brownout because of lighting in a thunderstorm. Even when there is an erratic input voltage(high or low), it automatically kicks in to maintain a steady input voltage for my electronics equipment: router, computers, LCD monitors and TVs. I own 2 of this unit and hook them in series to increase the time my electronics equipment stay on during an outage. However, one thing it annoys me is that whenever it kicks in due to outage or bad input voltages, it makes a very high unbearable pitch, you have to literally rush to press the horn button to shut it off, especially at night, you have to get out of bed to just shut it off. Here is my suggestion to Tripp-lite: why not put in a clock that the user can program in the time of the day/night that he does not want the horn to goes off when the unit kicks in.
