Rated 5 out of 5 by from Real powerhouse! I have been using a Sunforce 2500 watt pure sine wave inverter (11260). It is rated at 5000 surge wattage but it will dump the load and go into fault mode at 3000 watts! Yes, my cables are oversized and a very short run from my battery bank. My Pv2000fc or my Pv2400fc will out power it. Either one will hold the starting surge at full rated inverter capacity until the start load settles down to run load. Another irritating aspect of the Sunforce unit is that it is regulated at 61.5 hertz. I have to reset clocks & timing devices every day. The Tripplite Pv series inverters are a rock steady 60 hertz under load! Any load I have connected to them operates just fine with modified sine wave current. The only problems I have had was with battery backups for my computers (ups). They must require pure sine wave because the alarm goes off with modified sine wave. Would recommend these Tripplite units to all.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from never again I owen five of these units. The first one I bought ten years ago and is the only one that works. The other four are less then two years old. They are all having problems. Two broke in three monthes. One shuts down after five mins of use. And, the last one says it has a load on it. When nothing is pluged in to it. I sent the first two in to get fixed. They worked for 6 more monthes and then they stopped. Just in time for the warranty to be over with.
