Paper Punch,3-Hole,20 Sheet is rated 3.2 out of 5 by 19.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Recommend only if it came with illustrated instructions Who would have thought you needed instructions for a manual paper punch? If is very difficult to figure out how to fix the handle so you can actually insert paper. The "lock" "unlock" positions do not clearly reflect where the handle actually sits: the indicators refer to the lever on the bottom of the unit, not the handle itself. The instructions on this site about using a lever are useless because they don't tell you you need to take off the soft plastic bottom piece to find the lever. THEN you can move the lever in the direction of the unlock position and then it is possible to insert paper.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Unlocking It took me and a coworker about ten minutes to figure out that you have to hold the lever down and slide the arrows left or right to lock/unlock....works great! Just hold down the lever folks

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Unlock This is the dumbest product I've ever spent money on. Even after reading all the questions here, I still cannot unlock this thing. I'll be requesting a refund.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Works great once you figure out how to unlock it...no instructions on unlocking Should come with instructions on how to unlock the handle. I'm sure this product will work well but I wasted valuable time trying to figure out how to unlock it. Thankfully others wrote reviews so I could find out how to unlock it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good product except for rubber punch catcher I have had this product for a few years and it worked very well but now the rubber on the bottom is falling apart and I have been trying to hold it together with tape.Other than that the product has worked very well -- but now it's difficult to use without getting little round pieces of paper all over my desk when the rubber part falls off.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to use, but why the mystery about how to unlock??? I have never had to go to a product web site to figure out how to get the item to work. What is so mysterious about letting your customers know how to unlock the handle so it can be used? Why not put that on the box or a note on the paper punch. It works great once you find out the secret to unlocking the lever! Seems like an unnecessary step, and a waste of time, for your customers.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Lock won't work correctly This is not an easy to use 3 hole punch. I am returning this product

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Customer Service I wrote a review back in December, complaining about the lack of instruction and how I managed to loosen it too far. Later in the month, I received an email and was nicely offered to get a new one. This time, following the instructions he/she had sent me via email, making sure I didn't push too far out, now there is no clicking sound. The handle does not move sideways. Everything is great! Thank you!
