Rated 4 out of 5 by Almost Perfect I use this machete on a regular basis cutting small trees and limbs for hiking staffs and canes. I stated "almost perfect" because the sheath could be made a little more rugged, but the machete is just right. It is plenty sharp to cut the toughest of branches (Bois d'Arc/Bodark/Osage Orange/Horse Apple) and hasn't chipped with multiple uses. The saw blade is quite useful and also cuts through easily. It is well balanced and easier to handle than the Gerber machete (in my opinion). I highly recommend it! November 28, 2016

I have big hands and got a cut on my palm from the metal at the bottom of the handle so I dipped the handle in tool dip. Now it's the best lightweight useable tool I pack on the trail hunting. Rated 1 out of 5 by Total piece of poop waste of money The belt strap brokeThe first time I put it onThe blade dented and bent on the first use SOG should be embarrassed to put their name on this with this type of quality what can I expect anything else they produce ! The tools I use in the woods keep me safe this is of such poor quality I wouldn't trust as a paper weight in the office July 24, 2016

Rated 4 out of 5 by Pretty good Bought it on a whim at lowes. It chopped brush pretty good right out of the box. After whacking against some pavement numerous times, it had some chips in the blade, but sharpened up good from there. Honestly it wad $30, great for that price. July 11, 2016

First time I used it to clear a path, cutting small limbs & saplings, the cutting edge warped terribly; it looks like a slithering snake.I'm very disappointed with this product, it is useless as a machete.
