Rated 4 out of 5 by So Far worth the puchase Zip-up feature is the best. My hands don't work too well.Downside - needs a back pull on loop! I grabbed the snap over tab when putting on the boot and it ripped right off.Waterproof so far. Using them with snake guards to move copperheads - No strikes so far. August 14, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Love AlphaForce Duty Boots I wear these boots while on duty for public safety. After about a year I transition them to my lawn care business. So I get a good 2 plus years of use out of them . May 17, 2015
Rated 3 out of 5 by Rocky Boots-Waterproof, zipper, composite toe Purchased these boots about 3 weeks ago, they look great and the materials feel like good quality. The only down size is that it's narrow on the toe area, it's true to its size but I definitely suggest getting a wide size (I got the composite toe boots). Other than the pain it's causing on my toes due to them being narrow they are good boots. May 11, 2015
Rated 2 out of 5 by Waterproofing faded fast. My first pair lasted two years through torturous abuse. Not so much my second pair. The leaked after six months. March 20, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Very comfortable I finally wore out my old Alpha's (about 10 years old) and ordered these. I have been pleasantly surprised as the last has changed and the footbox is wider than the originals. But I guess my feet have widened with age and this is not a problem. The sole is wide, but that provides stability on awkward terrain. I have only two minor complaints, first my feet run hot and the gore-tex lining does not breathe as well as I would like, but I knew that might be an issue going into the purchase. The second, the insole SQUEAKS LOUDLY inside the boot, so if stealth is important to you, be aware. Another insole might solve this issue. Overall, I'm very satisfied with this boot. They are light and feel more like an athletic shoe than a boot. March 5, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great value for my money! I’ve owned these boots for a month, and they’ve offered great value for my money. They are very comfortable, and it took me less than a week to break them in (wearing them 10 hours a day). In contrast to some of the reviews I’ve read, I’ve had no issues with size—my boots are true to their size. They’re not smaller or narrower than what they’re supposed to be, even with the composite toes.I’m impressed with the comfort, protection, and support these boots provide. I tested their waterproof feature by stepping in a puddle six inches deep and standing in it for about 20 minutes. I inspected them afterwards and found no hint of moisture inside the boots. The only thing that has kept me from giving these boots a perfect rating is the loose fit of the snaps on the leather that covers the zippers. They unsnap after walking just a few steps. It’s a minor flaw, in my opinion. But since I’ve read about it in other reviews, I suppose it’s not an uncommon quality control issue. However, this issue won’t prevent me from recommending these boots to my friends and colleagues. January 13, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by It is good boot I bought the boots and wore them everyday for four months and that was 12 hour shifts. They were comfortable and held up well. I am trying out the zipper boots because I need the support for my ankles but I am also need the speed of putting them on quickly in case of an emergency. Saying that the boots are waterproof is pushing it though. November 5, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great durability I bought these 2 weeks ago. I had used them in law enforcement one pair lasted me over 4 years now being used daily. Finally I decided to break down and buy my own for home use. The only down side is breaking the new ones in but I'm looking forward to breaking them in and not having to get another pair for about 5 years. September 25, 2014
