Customer Reviews

Rated 4.2 out of 5 by 11reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Performs as expected, Highly Recommend I decided to go with the model 95 since I have four bathrooms in my house. Only two might be used at one time and washing clothes, so I will have enough hot water supply for three continous uses. Its a bit pricy, but worth the investment. I had this tankless water heater for two months now. Its performed up to my expectations. Flow is great. I especially like the temperature control. You can mount the LED temperature control panel anywhere (and add more wire if you want to remotely install it), press the up and down buttons to change the water temperature on the fly. The water does take about 20 more seconds or so to get hot water at your tap, but its worth the wait when you are taking long showers or washing cloths at the same time and never run out of hot water! There is a water save feature that you can set so that the flow is reduced and then increased once hot water is achieved. Nice for water conservation areas or if you want to save on your water bill.I would not go with any other product after using this Rheem unit. The quality of manufacturing the unit is second to none. Installation was not that bad at all. If you are going to do it yourself, make sure you read the instructions and take your time. It took me and another plumber about 6 hours to install from start to finish. Thats removing the old tank hot water heater and making the necessary plumbing changes of copper pipe. I would highly recommend getting the cut off valves with the hose draining capability. This will save you alot of time when you have to drain either/both the HOT and COLD lines of the unit for maintenance. You just hook up a hose to the valves, turn off the main supply and open the valve to let the water run out to a suitable drain. The name of the part is: Rheem RTG20220AB Webstone Tankless Water Heater Service Valve Kit, Clean Brass. This is especially good when servicing the water filter too.So far, Im very happy with this unit. Its quiet and runs very efficient. Good Job Rheem! September 10, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Enjoying endless hot water. We have 3 boys and it was always an issue with having enough hot water. We just bought an older house that only had a 10 gallon wanted heater so I wanted to give a tankless water heater a try. It has been great! Now we don't worry about hot water. We do have to remind the boys that we have to pay for the water usage. Our gas bill was only $2 more after getting the tankless. I wish we had gotten one sooner. September 2, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Space Saver This is my second Tankless Water Heater. First one installed January 2013 after Super Storm Sandy. When the house was being raised in winter of 2015 I failed to drain the heater and it was damaged because internal freezing. (my mistake). I recently had the same unit installed. August 17, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Works Great and all the Hot Water I will Ever Need I installed this heater 2 days ago and was very pleased with ease of installation and with the heater startup. Will know more as time goes on about reliability and required maintenance. Love the fact that no more worries about being last to take a shower! August 7, 2016
Rated 1 out of 5 by DON'T BUY THIS! I would not recommend this product. We have it for a few years and done numerous repairs on it. The heater keeps kicking off and we have purchased so many replacement parts. It is actually a true lemon. June 30, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by The Best I've had mine for 5 yrs. Couldn't be happier. Energy bills have decreased emensly.Only problem, n I'm not possitive this is it, but I bought a new dishwasher when I did the remodel n the dishes did not get clean. So traded it back in n got an upgrade. Still dishes did not come clean. Did some research n one comment said that if tank is far from washer it may do this n some ppl get a small one n put it under the sink just for the dishwasher. I on the other hand tried turning the tanks heat up to 140. This seemed to do the trick, then I just turned it back down. Being single this doesn't bother me. Another option is I could have went with a bigger one, but not possitive that would fix the prob either. All in all I wouldn't have anything dif. N I think it should be a law that these go in every new house built. If ur house is huge get 2, lol. One for bathrooms n one for kitchen. Lol April 5, 2016
