Portable evaporative coolers provide cool, humidified air in areas without combustible vapors, gases, or dust. These wheeled swamp coolers pull in warm surrounding air, pass it through wet media to remove heat, and blow out the cooled air. They require regularly draining and cleaning the water tank and allowing the media to dry thoroughly between uses to prevent odors and clogging from sludge buildup.
