Rated 3.8 out of 5 by 12reviewers.
Rated 3 out of 5 by Not what I expect from Milwaukee I purchased the M18 Fuel drill/impact driver set this past fall, and then received this 35 pc Shockwave bit set for Christmas. Overall, it has served its intended purpose, and I thought it was a good mix of accessories to pair with the impact driver. I liked the mix well enough that I bought the same set for my brother to go along with an M12 impact that I gave him for Christmas. First off, as others have commented, the case is just awkward. It comes with a nice variety of drivers, but then they are all just loosely thrown into a little container on the left hand side, a container which inaddition to being unorganized, is somewhat annoying to get open at times. Second, I also have not found the bits to hold up all that much better than run-of-the-mill drivers. They have held up better, I'll give it that, but I expect I'll be replacing them at least a couple times per year just from average to maybe a little above average homeowner/DIY use. Finally, the thing that prompted me to write a review was that I haven't even had the set 6 months and I've already snapped my 1/2" socket adapter. On the one hand, I get it, it is a 1/4" hex shank, the shank is still the limiting factor, doesn't matter that it was a 1/2" socket. The only reason I was using a 1/2" socket was because I needed a deep-well socket and that was all I had, and my impact bit set includes a 1/2" adapter. (It was only a 9/16" socket.) But, the fact that I broke the Milwaukee adapter that is made specifically for impact use, while using a Milwaukee impact driver, just bugs me. I am pretty brand loyal to Milwaukee tools, in the power tool arena I view them as the top of the line, and if I'm going to spend money on tools, I figure I might as well get the best tool for the job. But if their accessories can't hold up to use with their own equipment, I guess I may have to look elsewhere for that portion. I plan to contact customer service to see if I can get it replaced, but I still wanted to write a review to make others aware of my experience. Even if they do replace it, a good warranty doesn't do me much good at the time when I'm left with equipment sitting in the field because my tools broke. April 27, 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by Very dissatisfied I have always had good luck with Milwaukee products, until now. I bough this set to use with my impact bit driver because I was tired of it tearing up the standard bits. I don't find these bits to last much if any longer despite being much more expensive. I broke one of the drill bits in aluminium of all things and I have no functional phillips bits left after just a few months. On top of all of that I can't tell you how many times I have had to pick the bits up off the floor because of the terrible case. I would be hard pressed to by another similar Milwaukee product. Rated 5 out of 5 by Exceeded expectations For the price, I thought I would be getting a fairly cheap set of bits and a flimsy case. Instead, a got a great set of bits with a very robust case. I was actually very surprised by the quality, workmanship, and attention to detail, but then again, that's why I like Milwaukee. May 16, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Poorly organized I figured the box this kit came with would keep all the bits organized. Nope. All those extra bits you see in the picture just get thrown into that clear white plastic divider on the left, completely unorganized. You have to dig around in there to find the bit you want. Rated 5 out of 5 by SHOCKWAVE™ Drilling & Driving Bit Set 35 This is by far the best impact accessory kit on the market! I have never in my professional life been this happy with a piece of kit, the Milwaukee Tool company has outdone themselves. I'm sold, I am a fan for life! January 5, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Best I have had. Twenty nine years as an Industrial Maintenance technician working on everything from Smoke stack lifts, PLC, high voltage sytems to hanging pictures on the wall. Best set of drivers I have ever had. Took over a year and thousands of uses to finally have the #2 phillips driver break under impact usage. October 11, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by The best bits out there fast drilling and hard material October 3, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by So far so good...... I have had the shockwave bits now for several months. Overall good quality and design. Definitely like the impact ECX bits..... The only problem I can truly recall is having lost one of the magnets out of my 1/4" nut driver. June 28, 2012
