Rated 5 out of 5 by At first I was messed up because the wires only wrap around the back and front torso area. I thought that my extremities would freeze. No. This keeps your core temperature warm and so the 'warm' blood flows out like anti-freeze to your hands and feet. The battery placement is well thought out #near your kidney area#. It' never seems to obstruct arm movement or jams you when sitting down. I have a heated hoodie and this jacket and I would like to wear both. The only issue there is that the battery packs are all on the left side. Would be nice to have the jacket battery back on the right and the hoodie on the right. The M12 battery will stay on for 6 hours if you use the lowest heat setting. I usually start with the highest heat setting and then switch it off as I start to run around so I have not had an issue with running out of battery. If you need heat all day the you will need to run more than one battery. January 26, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Best Jacket This is a great lightweight Jacket that is weather proof. The hoodie is great as well. I own both. I love them both. My jacket is 4 years old and one of the pockets inside needs to be sewed. The jacket is the bet jacket that is made for working in the cold. Milwaukee makes the best products. I have never had one break. I even own their up to 4 inch hole puncher. Milwaukee all the way. December 4, 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by Poor Customer Service Coat broke after maybe 12 uses. None of the heating elements worked properly. Sent it back with the battery and they send me back a new coat without a battery. When I called to ask why I was not sent a battery they proceded to give me the run around, call me a liar, and refuse to send me a battery. Now I get to buy another battery. Save your money. The coat is not durable. January 28, 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by Huge Disappointment The Jacket is touted as up to 6 hours of heating. After one month of use I have yet to get past 65 minutes. Even when on you can't wear anything bulky underneath so once it runs out of battery power you get cold quickly. And carrying around a brick for a battery is quite cumbersome as well. STAY AWAY!!!! Rated 5 out of 5 by this coat is awesome I wanted to buy my husband one but he is 6'8" tall and the 2X was big enough just the sleeve's were not. He was bummed. Need to make tall. January 18, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent value. I have no other experience with heated clothes. I bought the hunting version jacket with separate vest. I wanted the vest to wear under other types of jackets. The quality is very good. V.G. zippers. Sewing is tight. Pockets are in good locations. Hood is ample. Size is ample. The battery loads into a battery base holder in its own zipper pocket with two zippers. The battery base is connected to a detachable wire. On the vest inside left breast there is a simple push temp. control. High, medium and low. Push to select. To turn off or on push and hold for three seconds. I have used the heat, on and off, for about 6 hours of hunting from a deer stand, between low and medium and have not used up the battery. I have not kept track of the actually hours but I estimate about 4 use hours. You have to be in very cold weather to put on the high temperature. i do not use the heat when I am walking. I found the secret is to use the low setting if you are on stand for a long time and dress just a bit warmer. This way I know I can up temperature and know I have plenty of battery life. I do not dress light and use the high temperature although some friends do this. Sometimes I put the high temp. on for a little while to warm up and then lower it down. In sub zero temp. of the Adirondacks and if on stand the high temperature helps out. I've used it twice in these low temps and brought along a second battery as back up. These batteries are excellent and I have three ready to go, that power some other battery operated tools. The battery charger does a recharge in short order too. This product is a blend of price and quality which means its a good value. I can not speak for longevity. Do not hesitate to buy this product. November 22, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Best jacket to have in Minnesota winters I bought this jacket for my husband for his birthday. Winters in Minnesota can get quite harsh and it is great to wear when clearing snow in sub-zero temps. He loves it. It is something he would not have bought for himself so I treated him to it.
