Rated 1 out of 5 by Had three XC batteries go BAD I have complete set ...........saw hammer drill impact. I found the standard Red Lithium (48-11-1815) holds up great...... might not last as long but is a better battery for me. I wish the XC batteries were better . April 20, 2016
Rated 2 out of 5 by Not in love The saw has good power and I like the blade replacement lever, the batteries have a good life and it's great that it came with 2. I do have a problem with the action of the saw, it seems to be more orbital than straight in and out , so cutting metals you have a lot of vibration and it's difficult making accurate cuts. My partner has the Dewalt and it's easier to make detailed cuts with it. I also don't like not being able to adjust the guide shoe like another reviewer pointed out. It's probably a better saw for wood than metal but I work mostly with steel so I'm sorry to say , even though Milwaukee is the standard for sawzall's I'm not loving it. August 6, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Rolls Royce of battery tools This is the by far the best tools you will ever use. The guys at my job ask if I have stock in Milwaukee. I made them by all the 18v tools you sell and got rid of the Dewalt. Now we are buying seconds of everything because guys are fighting over who has the cordless versus the corded. We fix the large container cranes for the largest shipping company in the world and these tools have taken alot of the effort we put in out. Rated 1 out of 5 by batteries are a joke.warranty i did use it at work in residential and commercial but batteries dont keep charge and have gotten worse.Warranty on batteries are a joke.Went to milwaukee center told me just need to buy new ones to much hassle with warranty cause it is pro rated. Rated 2 out of 5 by Not what I had hoped Bought the drill and impact last winter, to have a total of 4 batteries. I thought that this would enable me to always have a battery ready to go. As a contractor who uses a wide variety of tools, and someone that takes care of their tools, I would bring my batteries in every night out of the cold to charge. Not even a year later, Im down to 2 batteries, 2 work(with less power and less charge capacity) and 2 that refuse to charge. November 18, 2012
Rated 1 out of 5 by great tool need great batterys. Grinder , easy to use, very safe, plenty of power. I have had it for just on 12/14 mounths and had to replace batterys twice, and now there stuffed again. The grinder might get used one a week , has very little work .I feel like throwing it and buy adeffant brand. I have herd a lot of same problem. Not happy June 24, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Usefull tool, as expected From my point of view, only one thing is missing about that tool: I would appreciate to have an ajustable stopper (i don't know what is the proper word -I'm french)on it. I mean the metal guidance thing that surrounds the blade. I had it on my v28 milwaukee sawzall and loved it. Don't know why that one doesn't have. But other than that, i find this tool usefull and efficient, like every Mileaukee tool. June 9, 2012
