Cordless Ratchet Kit,12.0V,3/8 in. Drive is rated 3.6 out of 5 by 8.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Incredible worksaver, if only the switch would turn easier! I have major arthritus, so this is a lifesaver for me. Saves me so much ratcheting! Battery lasts a really long time between charges. Only wish that the direction switch would turn without the need for pliers. Even after cleaning and lubricating, it is notchy and requires pliers to turn. Curious if I have a bad one, or if other people have had similar experience and if there is a solution??

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Hobby Ratchet I'm a 35 year Cat tech and have several Milwaukee cordless tools but am not to impressed with this is quick and good for hose clamps but after breaking a bolt loose if it has rust or any restrictions it will just quit, the same with running a bolt in.I have to still use my air ratchet and have resorted to use this in cabs and dashes where the fasteners are smaller

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not For Serious Use - Head Breaks Easily I'm a heavy user but I'm not rich and take very good care of my tools. This tool worked very well for about a month and then "POP" and something in the head broke and the tool motor still spins but not the socket drive. It worked very well for spinning in fasteners without a bulky airhose... but you CANNOT EVER use it to break loose or final torque any fasteners or the head will break. I hope Milwaukee improves the durability of this tool because I miss it already - but I can't afford to replace it every few months.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great tool I am an auto mechanic and have used air ratchets for some time. I purchased this because I was tired of fighting with air hoses. I do not always work in the same bay in the shop, so moving around with tools is easy. I even have to do some repairs outside and cordless tools are great for this. Also, sometimes I do repairs on the side for extra $$$, and don't have access to big air at my home. In fact I have several cordless tools (all but one is Milwaukee) and think they are great. I use this tool to speed up repairs and it probably saves me a huge amount of time over a given week. Because it is shorter overall than a 3/8" air ratchet (with an air coupling), it allows me to take out bolts in tight places quickly and easily. Without a hose I find it will fit in tight places, and don't have to worry about dragging an air hose or coupling over someones fender. I use it every day and on almost every job. I left it in a customers car once and had to do without it for a week or so and I REALLY missed it. I love this tool. However, it is not perfect. First, the pros: The quality of the tool is excellent. The head of the tool is very compact and will fit into tight places. The light is great, as is the led battery life iindicator. The battery charge seems to last forever. It can be used as a normal ratchet to break loose bolt and turn them out without power (more on this later). The cons are: The body is a little bulky, but not uncomfortably so. I find the direction switch a little stiff, and sometimes it hangs up enough that I have to use pliers to change direction. I took the head apart thinking it was dirty and found that the pin that puts pressure on the ratchet mechanism is pointed rather than rounded and has worn a small indent into the pawl. This is after only a couple of months use. I believe if this were rounded or tipped with a ball bearing this problem would not exist. Another solution would be a direction switch on the body rather than the head. The ratchet is not powerful by any means, especially compared to an air tool, but this overcome by the ability to break nuts loose like a normal ratchet and then power them out. On the other hand, it is not overpowered or too quick (like many air tools are now) so can be used to reassemble also, without fear of over tightening or breaking stuff. Overall, this is an excellent tool and I would buy another if this were taken away tomorrow.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from very handy im a professional mechanic, i have a 1/4 drive snap on cordless ratchet i use alot, i wanted a 3/8 drive version but snapon replaced theres with this. i figured its rated at 35 ft/lbs so it should be more powerfull ........ but its not... it is lighter, more compact , has a higher free spin speed, and the battery charges faster/ lasts longer

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very Handy Tool The M12 cordless ratchet makes quick work of removing and installing long fasteners. The drive end mechanism is a little wobbly as though it was a bit off-center, but this does not detract from its utility. It works okay as a manual ratchet, however a bit unwieldy due to the large handle. The spot light does a nice job of illuminating the fastener. The compact Li-Ion battery charges quickly and seems to have good endurance.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Replaces an air tool, but big I use this for basic, low torque bolts you come across with car maint. I wish it was as compact as the air ratchet I use. The battery life and power makes it convenient, but not as versatile as a compact air ratchet.
