Rated 1 out of 5 by Had three XC batteries go BAD I have complete set ...........saw hammer drill impact. I found the standard Red Lithium (48-11-1815) holds up great...... might not last as long but is a better battery for me. I wish the XC batteries were better . April 20, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent product Excellent tool, I'm installing my second set of brushes and I've been hard on this poor thing but it's never let me down! July 16, 2015
Rated 2 out of 5 by Good Performance........ Poor Design I bought this sawzall to replace an older model of the V18 series. Only replaced because Milwaukee changed the battery mounting style and I needed to add additional cordless tools to my arsenal so I bought a whole new kit of four tools. When I bought this tool I didn't realize that the shoe wasn't adjustable but then decided that I would be OK without it. BIG mistake! Why they decided an unadjustable shoe would make this a better tool is beyond me. Upon firing this tool up I was impressed with the speed and power. But, the problem is there is this big rubber "collar" around the end of the tool that totally blocks the users line of sight. Previous models have a smaller collar AND they are stepped back further which doesn't block the line of site. Wishing I would have looked more closely at this before I bought it. I expect more from Milwaukee! February 8, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Rolls Royce of battery tools This is the by far the best tools you will ever use. The guys at my job ask if I have stock in Milwaukee. I made them by all the 18v tools you sell and got rid of the Dewalt. Now we are buying seconds of everything because guys are fighting over who has the cordless versus the corded. We fix the large container cranes for the largest shipping company in the world and these tools have taken alot of the effort we put in out. Rated 3 out of 5 by good tool, poor material It works great while it holds together but in the last year two have broken on me April 26, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Dont get a bit stuck!!!! Don't get a bit stuck!! Take apart is not easy. No help from Milwaukee on the matter. No replacement parts sold for this problem as well. Very very poor design. Should have easy way to remove stuck bits. Sorry I purchased now I have no alt but to purchase a new tool. Wont be a Milwaukee!! April 7, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by I expected more This is the 3rd drill that we have went thru at work. They started giving me the drills after they stopped working. Each one stopped for a different reason. Some just lost power or made a grinding noise inside. Others work some times if you hold the trigger just right but not for long. We now have 6 chargers and only 5 batterys that work, and only 3 impacts that are working. That's not a very good track record I like your tools but would not buy this product. I have a 18v impact of my own that has been used professionaly for several years the only thing that has went wrong with it is the charger, and the batterys are getting week. Sorry I would not recommend any contractor to buy this product March 3, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Dont buy it. I bought this to add to the collection of 18 volt Milwaukee tools. The construction material is much much cheaper than the older similar model I have. Plastic on the clutch handle is already cracked after just few uses and no drops. The old one seems to be tougher as it several years old and still works great and has no cracks. I called customer service, they want to see it, check it out, and charge me if they decided is cracked due to my misuse. Not worth the trouble as it is useable as is. I also asked them to just send the part and I would install it, they said no. This is my last Milwaukee tool because their quality has declined, and the customer service is substandard as well. ... I have only had this tool about a week and it already comes second to the one that is about 6 years old. Then new tools are junk. January 7, 2014
