Customer Reviews

Rated 2.3 out of 5 by 3reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Works fine and lasts if you use it correctly. If you use just enough force to properly set the nut and don't tip the tool to the side while squeezing the handle it will work everytime and not break. June 30, 2016
Rated 1 out of 5 by I used it twice before it broke. (6-32) March 12, 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by This mandrel breaks when used in the hand Thread-Setter. Alcoa bought out Marsen, so customer service is non-existent. I tried to get information on how to use this product without breaking the mandrels. I found out that the new thread-setter kits do NOT include the 6-32 size, they go down to 8-32 and no smaller now. Alcoa Customer service couldn't find my account information so would not help me. Instead they directed me to Grainger. To my surprise, Grainger has the mandrels. Gold-dust on Grainger, corral-dust on Alcoa. I still have the problem of breakage, but at least I can find new mandrels to break. Thanks, Grainger! March 10, 2014
