Product Details

These syringe filters are molded in polypropylene housings for a reliable seal without adhesives. The disposable, non-sterile glass fiber filtration media syringe filters feature Luer-Lok™ and pressure fittings. They are ultrasonically bonded for reliability, and the filter media type is clearly inscribed on barrel. They offer excellent unit-to-unit and lot-to-lot reproducibility and consistency. The unique, concentric funnel-shaped barrel increases volume and decreases back pressure. Glass microfiber filter media is binderless with 0.7um retention. Use for viscose solutions or turbid liquids or as a prefilter in series with other syringe filters. They can help reduce membrane colgging, making them ideal as a prefilter to increase throughput and flow rate. Use in dissolution testing and general filtration. Good compatibility with strong acids, bases, and organic solvents.
