Rated 1 out of 5 by A genuine piece of junk! Had to give one star zero was not an option available. Stripped less than 50 wires over 3 months and they started slipping off the insulation, while working on an old car I'm restoring. Of course for the price it's not worth the trouble to return them . I guess that's what they count on, however maybe I can save someone else their money and others will take the time to tell what a piece of garbage this product is. July 13, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Only one gripe: no wire splitters I use these for mostly audio-related wiring and I do like them quite a bit. However, they do not have any sort of wire splitters, which means I must have a pair of snips or scissors handy to split double stranded wire. I feel that this is a major oversight in their design, and hope that a future model includes this. March 5, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Wonderful Strippers I purchased these strippers because I assemble electrical boxes, and panels everyday. I wanted something fast, reliable, and self adjusting. December 6, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Turns stripping wires from a pain into fun I often work with different wire sizes and types, and to put it delicately, I hated having to strip wires. It's time consuming and can get annoying after a while. This lil gadget turned everything around. Fighting to strip wires is now a thing of the past. What was once an inconvenience is now my favorite part. Some of my favorite tools. Thank you Irwin. October 28, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Very good but length sto is fragile. I bought it a couple of years ago and striped many different kind of wires, 24 to 14 gauge. It even removes the outer jacket of many multiple wire cables. The plastic wire length stop is fragile and breaks easily and there does not seem to be a way to get a replacement. August 2, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Awesome I use them every day (sometimes all day) in my work as a Propmaker for the entertainment industry. They lasted three years and then the back spring broke, shattering the two plastic back plates. The plastic, yellow depth gauge broke off a year ago but I never used it anyway so no harm done. I have contacted Customer Service for a new set of springs and bought another set to hold me until I get these fixed.Simply the best - but nothing lasts forever. April 14, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Stripper I've used alot of strippers before, and these are the best I've used so far. March 5, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by By far the best wire strippers ever! No need to match the wire gauge to the correct hole, just insert wire, grip handle, and done. There is a little bit of a knack to using them to prevent braided wire from bending but once you use these, you will never buy another pair. October 2, 2012
