Rated 3 out of 5 by from Bought this saw for boat building, thought I could get replacement blades. Ican' find blades anywhere. Because of this I won't buy another one.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from No replacement blades available Like all the others I was hoping to find a replacement blade but apparently it does not exist.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Can't replace blade. I'm looking elsewhere Like Wade Patton and lonnie, I also thought I would simply be able to replace the blade. I thought this because 1) The blade is removable and 2) the blade has a part number on it. I cannot help but feel that the part number is a marketing ploy to make you think the blade can be replaced.Irwin don't even offer replacement blades on their own sight. The saw is fantastic and I would keep buying replacement blades if I could but since I cant I will be buying a new saw elsware since I know there are pull saws out there that offer replacement blades. I feel so strongly about this I'm only rating 1 star for the overall rating. Very disappointing.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love it NOW WANT TO REPLACE BLADE My first pull-saw. Once I learned how to use it properly have come to love this style of saw. The easily removable saw BLADE with a part number on it, made me think that one could purchase a replacement blade for this saw. Apparently one cannot. So I will be buying another saw of a different brand such that I can purchase replacement blades. It _is_ that simple. Bottom line, great entry level saw for trying your hand at quick, precise cross-cuts and rips. But look elsewhere if you want to take advantage of replaceable blades. Down one star for that.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from blade replacement I bought my first thinking that I could use it until the blade failed then replace the blade only. What I found out was I could not find .Is there such a thing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Business Owner I have 30 men in training under the Georgia Works Program, and decided I would purchase one of the Japanese Style Pull Saws to be used outside for limb cutting and found the saw to be one of the best saws that I've ever used, and the men love the way it cuts, {so smooth}. I have purchased ten of these saws in order to keep these men working. I'm in the market of purchasing ten more. You have to try this saw in order to understand the benefits of it's use, because we use it for everything.
