Customer Reviews

Rated 5 out of 5 by 2reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Walking down the sidewalk yesterday morning to get the newspaper, I noticed the fan on the HVAC condenser was spinning at about 2 RPM. Flicking it with a stick got it going and then it blew lots of air. Only a few years old, but probably the capacitor is bad and maybe the motor too. Grainger listed dozens of motors and hundreds of capacitors, so it took me a while and several trips outside to the unit to make sure I was getting something that would fit. They had both the motor and the capacitor I needed at my local store. Three minutes to change out the capacitor, and the fan was running like new again. So, I was able to fix it the same day.(Thank you Grainger!) I'll change out the motor too, just to be sure of no more problems. The capacitor fit exactly and works perfectly. It will take years (I hope) to find out how long it will last, but so far, so good. January 12, 2016
