MR160 imaging moisture meter integrates high quality thermal imaging technology with the best in moisture detection and quantification. The thermal camera utilizes a state-of-the-art 80 x 60 pixel FLIR Lepton® Thermal Imaging Sensor. Internal pinless sensor measures moisture content without damaging the surface of the material under test. An external probe connects to bottom of meter for pin-based percentage of WME tests. View thermal images, moisture readings, or combine the two on one screen. Stored images can be transferred to a PC, via USB interface, to create test reports using FLIR tools software. Complete with wired pin probe, rechargeable battery, and USB based universal battery charger.

Customer Reviews

Thermal Image Moisture Metr,Remote Probe is rated 2.0 out of 5 by 4.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Complicated. Got certified per their web instruction. Still have very little idea if how it works. Too many of the readings seem vague and it takes a good deal of time to quantify. Other inspectors are through and gone and I'm still trying to calibrate.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very poor instruction The FLIR "getting started" manual for the MR160 is practically worthless. I get the feeling that you need to have used other products to understand all of the functions on this device. It would be very simple to write some helpful instruction, don't know why FLIR has neglected to do so.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Moisture meter camera only This product seems like a high quality moisture meter, but it's not a multifunctional product. As a Home Inspector, I can purchase a product that shows both moisture and heat temperature for a little $ more. If this would have done both, I would have been all over this product.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not enough tutorials! I have a FLIR MR 160, a thermal imaging thermometer (TG 176?) and an ExTech EA80 carbon monoxide tester. I can't find any tutorials that show these tools in action. The EA 80 ($700) is constantly displaying deadly levels of CO, but there are only vague instructions on calibration included with the product. You don't seem to have much competition right now, so the customer has not many choices. But when someone comes along with a product that includes tutorials and good instructions, you may be the next Blockbuster Video. If I had better tools to choose which products I need from you, I would be happy. I have over $1500 invested in your tools, but in the end, I needed one of your B series imagers. Now I have very expensive tools that aren't used and I can't afford what I need. If you would take back the tools I've bought and apply that toward the price of the B-series camera I need, I would be a happy customer.
