Product Details

The 2-in-1, first-to-market FLIR® CM174 imaging 600A AC/DC clamp meter has a built-in thermal imager that uses Infrared Guided Measurement™ (IGM) and a laser pointer with crosshair to pinpoint potential electrical problems and capture center-point temperature readings. The meter has advanced electrical features including low impedance (LoZ ) mode to help eliminate ghost voltage, low-pass filter to reduce noise when testing variable-frequency drives (VFDs), inrush current for start-up spikes, and smart diode with disable.
The narrow jaw and built-in worklights help you enter tight or dark locations. The CM174's compact form fits easily in your back pocket for on-the-go access. It will accept a flex clamp adapter, and can be tripod mounted (flex clamp and tripod sold separately). Expand to 3000A with FLIR Flex Clamp Adapter Nos. 40GT09 or 40GT08.
With the visual guidance of the built-in thermal camera, FLIR Infrared Guided Measurement (IGM) helps electricians troubleshoot complex, compounded problems while knowing where the potential hazards are. Cluttered wires and complex panels can be scanned at a safe distance to locate anomalies without reaching into the panel. The CM174's advanced measurement features help validate findings and solve complex electrical issues. It's an essential tool to check repairs and ensure problem areas are back to normal.
