Customer Reviews

Rated 1 out of 5 by 1reviewer.
Rated 1 out of 5 by This Moisture Meter requires a 3/4" MINIMUM thickness of the material it is being used on. I've never seen 3/4" sheetrock in a residential setting and I don't carry scrap sheetrock in my truck to stack it as told in the instructions to get that 3/4" minimum thickness, the same applies to carpeting. On 1/2" sheetrock I was getting readings of 5% to 70% moisture without moving the meter. I did find a piece of sheetrock to stack per the instructions and the meter reading was 0% moisture in the wall. I finally cut open the wall and water was trickling down the backside of the sheetrock. This meter is an expensive, time consuming joke. June 13, 2015
