Product Details

The versatile RT30 uses a pager-sized, non-contact voltage detector transmitter which clamps onto wiring mid-run and transmits a "voltage present" signal to a pocket-sized receiver carried by the user. Clamped onto a live wire, the transmitter signals the user at the breaker panel with LED and audible alerts on the receiver (up to 100 m range). The alerts stop when the correct circuit breaker is switched and work can then be performed safely. You get the RT30 Wireless Remote AC Circuit Identifier with transmitter and receiver, remote clamp-style probe, 4 AAA batteries, pouch case, and operating instructions.

Wire Tracer,100 to 600VAC,Enrgzd Lns is rated 1.0 out of 5 by 2.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Couldn't be more misnamed. If I have to shut each breaker off to figure out which breaker is supplying the power, then why do I need this?

Rated 1 out of 5 by from This is not a useful tool. All it does is indicate if a wire is energized or not. I purchased it thinking it was a "fox and hound" type device, but I was wrong. The only way it can be used to locate a circuit breaker is by flipping each breaker until you "find" the one the device is connected to.
