Customer Reviews

Magnifier Light,LED,Diopeter 3,Blk,19W is rated 3.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from I expected much more from a "Made in USA" product in this price range. The brand has a decent reputation, but the lamp I received has a bad LED module. One of the modules, when first turned on, flickers dimly for about a minute then eventually comes on full brightness. During initial troubleshooting, I was disappointed by the build quality. It's obvious that this is a converted CFL magnifier. The LED driver is stuffed into a cavity and held in place with double face tape and a wedge of foam. There is an unnecessary 2" section of wire between the power wire and the LED driver -- as if the fixture had already been assembled as a CFL lamp and the ballast was cut out to wire in the LED driver. Rather than do a warranty return to Grainger, I've contacted the manufacturer to see if they will simply send the parts to make the repair in-house. In addition, the weighted base is not nearly heavy enough for one-handed adjustment of the magnifier position.
