Wheel,Cut Off,Pk36 is rated 2.0 out of 5 by 5.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Really, really, really thin wood only... Won't cut off one piece of baseboard trim. I'd hoped to be able to trim 2 pieces that are attached to a wall so that I could put in new door trim. Wheel overheated and chipped before I got half-way through the first one. Hadn't even hit the thickest point. Use only for 1/8" or thinner.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The 509 is for small and light work The 409 abrasive wheel is my most used wheel and closely followed by the 420. This is best used for small items like small screws and rods etc like in model rc vehicles, aircraft, and boats. I use them for my business of restoring antique clocks, industrial and antique home sewing machines. They are used for cleaning and dressing precision screw heads along with cutting down screws and cutting new slots. You have to use light pressure, slower rpm's and you to remain steady in the cut or they will break as they are only .025" thick. If this is a problem you need to move up to the 420 as they are thicker and slightly more resistant to binding and flexing. I've been using the heck out of them for over 15 years in my one and only Dremel model 395.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Quantity vs Quality As the other reviews have stated. There’s a reason why you get 36 at a lower price. Never had one wear down because they shatter far too easy. Wear eye protection, long sleeves and gloves definitely because no telling where the disc shrapnel will fly.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointed This last batch of thin discs breaks at the slightest deviation. I always expect some breakage, but this is ridiculous.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Ever wonder why so many come in a pack? These "cutting" discs are so fragile that only the slightest pressure perpendicular to the disc will break it -- quite possibly shattering it -- sending shards flying who-knows-where. They also wear down extremely fast, so get used to changing discs frequently if you're cutting anything remotely harder than say . . . cardboard.
