Customer Reviews

Stone,Grinding,3/8 In is rated 3.5 out of 5 by 2.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worked as intended. This stone worked well for its job. I used it on my knives, and it sharpened them as well as a medium stone would.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Poor quality control This grinding stone came as part of the set with the Dremel 4000 which I purchased new today (24.6.17)but there was excess white glue on the stem that prevented this stone from being fullly inserted into the collette. When screwing the lawnmower/garden tool sharpener attachment it made contact with the end of the stone. The solution was to remove some of the excess white glue - but having to fix something from new before you can use it when you pay $180 for the Dremel is kinda annoying.annoying. The motor on the Dremel itself is also surging and misfiring from new. I'm rather disappointed with this item given that its more expensive than it was 5 years ago.The Dremel 4000 itself seems to be out of balance even without any attachment in it. In the airvent hole there seems to be excess sparking like it has a commutator fault. On setting 17 the Dremel rocks and surges and there's a lot of vibration like it's badly out of balance.
