Customer Reviews

Silicon Carbide Grind Wheel,PK2 is rated 3.0 out of 5 by 3.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great for Metal I work in an Aerospace Manufacturing Firm and we use these particular stones quite often for deburr-ing metal, mostly heat treated steel with odd contours. As long as you don't have your Dremel at full RPM's and you do not use a heavy hand, these little guys can last quite a long time, often times I am brought back a nub as the stone is worn down to the core. I have used them and so have my guys and we all swear by them as a cheaper alternative to diamond embedded products.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Wears down quickly! Make sure to have plenty on hand because these guys wear down super quick. Used them on glass bottles for both grinding down rough surfaces as well as etching and it came out great, but I had to go through a couple just to finish the job so make sure that you have a couple on hand!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Short life Stone easily overheated and separated from the shaft. Was able to retrieve the stone and put it back on and still use it a few times after chasing around the porch but before the job was done it finally finished cracking and was no longer usable. I suspect lighter duty it might be fine but for my purpose it was pretty poor.
