These steel-frame hand trucks have a curved, forked plate that wraps around the sides of a 5-gal. bucket or pail and slides under the bucket's or pail's lip to hold the container in place on the truck. The trucks can carry a stack of buckets or pails as long as the stack is shorter than the overall height of the trucks' frame. They also allow operators to load a stack of heavy buckets or pails onto the hand trucks without having to lift them. Pail hand trucks are used to move paints, coatings, drywall compounds, and other materials that are packed in 5-gal. buckets or pails.
