Customer Reviews

Rated 2.5 out of 5 by 6reviewers.
Rated 1 out of 5 by Cheap, and will not last, only 1 year warranty. No replacement parts available. January 19, 2016
Rated 2 out of 5 by These heaters do not hold up very well. We place them in weather protected instrumentation enclosures to protect the enclosures from freezing. They work at first, then after a few days the fan slows way down until you move it, bring them to the repair shop then the fan starts running again. The fan starts running again, and it seems fine, then it quits again. I have had four heaters do the same thing to us. I will be looking for another brand. I wish the good old American made Titan heaters were still available. January 7, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Purchased this fan two years ago but did not take it out of the box and put it to use until this year. Within the first month the thermostat seemed to become a bit erratic. Yesterday I heard a clunk while it was running so I unplugged it to investigate. Something was loose and sliding around inside the housing. Removed front half and discovered the arm with the tip-over weight had melted off. Not sure how I feel about keeping this heater around with a bad safety. January 7, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by This heater is a piece of junk, the fan is running backwards out of the box. Made in China for Grainger. So much for the "QC Passed" sticker on the bottom. November 28, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by For several years we bought milkhouse style heaters for our home greenhouse and they lasted six months or a year, using them everyday during the winter. The part that usually failed was the tip over switch, they'd melt. Since we've found these great Dayton heaters, we've not replaced one for four years. They're sturdy, hold up in the damp environment, even though they're not rated for that. They're well made and deliver dependable heat. Ours run on thermostats and are essential to growing our home orchids. These are good quality. We highly recommend them. September 14, 2012
