8 In Bench Grinder, 120/240V, 3/4 HP, 3450 Max. RPM, 5/8 In Arbor, 7.0/3.5 Amps is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 5.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Overall great grinder, easy to swap out new wheels or add on a wire wheel with a couple 5/8" flatwashers. It has some assembly but it takes all of 15 minutes if that, easy to put together. If I was to nit pick this I would just make the on/off switch one solid plastic rocker switch, it has a little plastic piece for safety reasons to pull out when not in use. I super glued it in place because here in our shop I'm sure someone would pull it out and it would get lost. Overall great grinder for the money.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good strong solid Grinder, unfortunate differences in Tool Rest Bracket. The Brackets for the Tool Rest are not the same. When I received the Grinder I noticed that the left Bracket was not cut the same and was essentially too short for the machine. I contact Grainger and they were very good in trying to resolve the issue. They sent me a replacement bracket hoping the original bracket was just packaged incorrectly. The new one came today and it is exactly the same. The parts Diagram and the actual part do not match in look. The Left Bracket in the Diagram has a angled bend in it and looks to match the Right Bracket but in reality the Left Bracket has a 90° bend in it and the Slot in it is shorter. We will try to make the bracket work but it is definitely a big disappointment to an otherwise great machine

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very well built and plenty of power. I really like the vac manifold on the back. Also, the toolless adjustments save time and make it easier for operators to maintain OSHA compliance with guard and rest spacing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from As you would expect Dayton has always made good quality value priced tools. This grinder is no exception. Make no mistake this is a large ,heavy grinder and will handle anything you can throw at it. This is not your Daddy's 6 inch grinder ,the big 8 inch wheels will remove any material you are strong enough to hold up. Every aspect of the grinder's ergonomics have been well thought out and executed in substantial heavy durable material. Whether you plan on using this in a business operation or home shop it should last for many years. I have seen Dayton grinders that are decades old and still operating. Great value for the price.
