1/8 HP Condenser Fan Motor, Permanent Split Capacitor, 1650 Nameplate RPM, 200-230 Voltage is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from I have a Trane A/C unit that's never had a problem since 1995, but the condenser fan stopped turning (not unexpected - it had been growling for a while). I couldn't find the p/n identified on the motor's label, and tried searching the internet using the A/C model # and that didn't work either. Then I searched Grainger's using the voltage, hp, and rpm from the label didn't work. I used Grainger's search feature to look at different hp ratings that might fit, and found this motor. The attach method matched and even the wire colors were the same as the old motor. The old motor said 1/15 hp, but this said 1/8, and it was IN STOCK at Graingers 6 miles away! - I took a chance. I was a little worried that the ends of the wires would need to be altered to make the connections to the A/C wires but the wire lengths and plugs at the ends made this a drop-in perfect replacement. I didn't need the suggested capacitor. I just bolted everything together and plugged in the wires, hit the breaker switch and reset the thermostat.
