Customer Reviews

Rated 3 out of 5 by 1reviewer.
Rated 3 out of 5 by Every manufacturer can send out a defective product from time to time, and I just happen to get one from these folks, and since I really needed it and couldn't afford to wait a week or more to return it and all that, I set about fixing it. It's not a terribly complicated contraption, but the rubber gasket/washer/grommet which is supposed to be at the end of the release plunger was stuck partially up inside the valve body and since I didn't check it, it became damaged on the first try. I was able to make a new and better one but had to lathe a grove around the plunger tip to put an e-clip which now holds the new neoprene washer I made securely in place. I made a new spring which was about 8% stronger than the one provided making the valve close more securely and yet doesn't inhibit the air from opening the valve. So 3 hours of machine time, re-designing and some creativity and it's a great product! I would recommend it to anyone who likes to rebuild new parts in their spare time. February 6, 2015
