Rated 4.8 out of 5 by 29reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Perfect Jacket For Working Length is perfect for me...I'm in and out of the truck all day between job sites, and the short length is great for driving. And, wearing a tool belt, it's high enough to stay out of the way of my tools. Surprisingly warm on really cold days despite just being blanket lined. On REALLY cold or windy days, just add a hood. I have an extremes arctic hood that I use, and it steps this jacket up a notch or 2 in what it can do on deep winter windy days. Duck is pretty good at blocking the wind and shedding light rain too. I like that the blanket lined is more versatile than the other linings I have worn....still good for winter, but not too hot as a sprint and fall "emergency" jacket for when the early morning or late evening gets colder than you expected in your tee shirt. It was a good jacket, even when they started making it in other countries. Now that it's made in the USA again, and at a great price, you need one. Especially if you work for a living. Now get one and go get it dirty. August 15, 2015
Rated 2 out of 5 by Defective zippers Zipper pull on the jackets are only lasting a year, then $10 to get replaced. Entire zipper is giving out on the arctic coats after a year, $30 repair. For the price and hype, these products should last a lot longer (and this is not even everyday use - only 3-4 months a year). Rated 5 out of 5 by made in U.S.A I have had this jacket one week now, and have put it through cold weather and a snow storm and it has held up well so fare. good construction vary durable made in the USA. final thoughts are that I wish Carhartt had more things made in the USA. February 4, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Must-Have Man Gear! This jacket is very durable and rugged in both looks and function. It's exceptionally warm for fall/winter and maybe even cool enough for spring too. It's Made in the USA. I would highly recommend this to my friends. To all the Canadians: I'm from Toronto, ON and my order shipped from Etobicoke. They have warehouse(s) in Canada. October 29, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by American-made; looks great. What more do you need? I'm trying to buy more USA-made products. This one is awesome, and for a reasonable price! Break-in period may take awhile, because the fabric is very heavy-duty and stiff. I'm a tall, thin guy, and this jacket looks great. Get one. August 1, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Best Jacket Ever I own 3 Carhartt jackets and I love this one the best. I always get way to hot in my artic lined jacket but this one is perfect for California weather! I would recomend this jacket to everybody!! February 28, 2012
Rated 3 out of 5 by J001 Men's Duck Detroit Jacket/Blanket-Lined After four years of heavy work, The entire bottom has unstitched itself, it is frayed at every hem, has holes all in it, and the blanket lining is disintegrating. I wish Carhartt still had the quality of my granddad's whose, although white now, is holding on much better - at twenty years old.The fit is perfect, however the jacket's unstitching after the second washing turns me off to Durability and Quality. The jacket never was very warm with the blanket lining, so I consider the comfort to be low. The appearance is good, but I prefer the J002 jacket with it's arctic-weight lining. Holds up much better. Rated 5 out of 5 by Always recommend Carhartt I'm always happy with Carhartt. It's the only brand I will ever wear. January 20, 2012
