Customer Reviews

Electric Utility Heater, 240VAC, kW 4.0/2.6, BtuH 13,648/9,100 is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 5.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Fan Blade contacts the shroud on high heat In high heat the fan blade is out of balance and hits the shroud, pretty consistently. In low heat it doesn't. I've noticed that in low heat, the fan doesn't seem to be unbalanced and create shaking, while in high heat, the fan definitely vibrates, creating contact with the shroud. The fan is not centered within the shroud, the blade is really close to the shroud on the lower left side, with the air blowing in your face. If the fan was centered, this may not be a problem. Are there any fixes to resolve the fan contact with the shroud?Other than that, it seems to be a good heater.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Does the Job! I bought the RCP402S right after building my wood shop in 2004, and the unit performs well after 13 years. My shop is 2970 cu. ft. I find I need to air blow out the dust occasionally, and just do it every other week. Highly recommend The Hot One.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice Heater I have a well insulated double garage. It does a great job of warming the space. I really like the fact that it is so quiet. I hung from the supplied bracket near a 220 outlet. Works great
