Rated 1 out of 5 by For the "Ones who get it done", I think need to rethink their inks, they should be "The ones who dropped the ball". Let me explain why. The only information that can be found on their website is that this clamp is 7.5" X 7.5", and fits up to 4 AWG wire. See above for yourselves. I purchased this clamp for a 6" IPS pipe, with an O.D. of 6.675". I see this clamp, advertised as 7.5" X 7.5" and think this clamp will work for my needs. Much to my suprise, when I take it out of the box, I find packaging clearly labeling this clamp for 4" to 5" IPS pipe, with O.D's of 4.5" to 5.58". Clearly this clamp is much too small to fit over my 6" pipe. What gives? I check with my tape measure, the outside to outside dimension of the brass portion is......7.5". Clearly important information the average tradesman needs to know. The other dimension? It is 7.5" from end to end of the U-bolt. Clearly another much needed measurement. Why can't they list the important informaiton about this product on their website, like, the size pipe this "pipe ground clamp" will fit? I guess I can use the 7.5" x 7.5" dimensions after all. It's the minimum size box I can stick this clamp into to send it back to grainger. October 11, 2013
