Product Details

The Bosch Top-Handle Jig Saw provides plenty of power coupled with outstanding handling and accuracy. Finish carpenters and kitchen/bath installers will appreciate the powerful 6.5-amp motor and variable-speed control, making this saw an excellent choice for curve-cutting. A dial on the back of the tool controls the maximum speed; the accelerator trigger regulates the operating speed. This jig saw is engineered with a precision-machined plunging mechanism and low-vibration design, delivering enhanced accuracy and extremely smooth operation. Also, it was designed with soft grip areas for solid handling. The sturdy die-cast aluminum footplate includes a steel insert and on-board storage of bevel hex key. The multidirectional blade clamp delivers superior grip of T-shank blades (but it does not accept U-shank blades). The toolless T-shank blade-change system affords fast blade insertion and removal. It has a dust blower (with an on/off switch) for max cut-line visibility.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Worth the upgrade For years I had been using a really cheap jigsaw because someone once told me there's almost no difference in the mechanical motion of them - "If the blade goes up and down it's a fine jigsaw." So I spent my money on good blades instead.I accidentally cut through the cord of that cheap jigsaw and didn't want to bother with replacing the cord. I'm able to afford nicer tools now than I once could, and this one seemed like a good fit. I used to think either jigsaws were horrible tools to use, or that there was no hope for me to ever be a good jigsawsman. It's amazing what a quality tool can do.The motor and motion are incredibly smooth on this model. There's no detectable side-to-side bit movement, and the exact same blades seem to twist significantly less during scroll cuts. The blower works well to keep your sight line clear. All of which adds up to a quality cut with very little effort and frustration. August 16, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent Purchase I bought this on sale to use at home for hobbies (I have the barrel grip jigsaw for work - kitchen building and installation) but this saw was so consistent and reliable that it ended up on the jobsite with me. I really abuse this thing and it shows no loss of functionality. Definitely recommend this product. October 31, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by very comfortable and all around nice saw I bought this jigsaw 4 months ago and have been very pleased with its overall performance. I build cabinets, furniture and custom woodworking for a living, although I bought this saw to use at home (and have used it on several projects), I did take it to work for a couple weeks to really put it through its paces. the saw has performed great, it's got plenty of power to handle cutting through hard oak or maple just as easily as cutting 1/4 plywood,. along with a smooth Straight cutting action that prevents blade wondering. Tthe footplate glides over material nicely, and this jigsaw is very comfortable and easy to control. I do wish it had an led light however, that's one feature I like that this saw lacks. Rated 5 out of 5 by An accurate comfortable to use tool I have ,in the past owned a number of jig saws and this one is by far the best one. It is powerful, easy to manipulate, has a long cord and has the features that a top notch saw should have. Blade insertion and removal is easy and with the vacuum attachment vary little sawdust is left behind to clean up. July 26, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great saw I bought this saw a few months ago. Can't say enough good about it. Cuts straight, fast with little to no blade wandering. Beats the pants off my previous saw. I did comparisons with its contemporaries and had to go Bosch. Glad I did. July 23, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by MUST HAVE TOOL I found myself in the need for a jig saw and after a strenuous search came upon the JS365. It's a pretty big jigsaw compared to others I've owned in the past and I was concerned that might present a problem when using it but that just wasn't the case. I can't speak on long term use but so far the saw has been a pleasure to use. I love the quick tooless change out of the blades. June 26, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by FOR PROFESSIONALS This saw has been always ready when we need it, for anything we need it for. It is so small and compact we always keep it behind my seat, for that time when you forgot your circular saw, or your apprentice sliced the blade of your 7", this guy will slice thru a 2x6, metal stud, piece of angle iron, hardiboard, etc. A one man show that can do it all for you, and still slice a clean piece of trim. Rated 5 out of 5 by Professional grade I have put one year of hard use on this saw and it looks and feels new, I use it in many more applications than I anticipated, powerful and versatile, very easy to adjust and blade changes are a snap. May 19, 2014
