Product Details

Finish carpenters and kitchen and bath installers will appreciate the 7.0-amp motor and variable-speed control, making this saw an excellent choice for curve-cutting. A dial on the back of the tool controls the maximum speed and the accelerator trigger controls the operating speed. Built with an aluminum gearbox and an insulated cover, this jig saw comes with a low-vibration plunging design and Constant Response circuitry for consistent speed under load. The multidirectional blade clamp delivers superior grip of T-shank blades (but it does not accept U-shank blades). The blade-ejection lever that eliminates need to touch hot blades. It has a dust blower for max cut-line visibility.

Customer Reviews

Corded Jig Saw, 7.0 Amps, T-Shank Blade Type, Top Handle Design, Orbital Cutting Action is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 66.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Jigsaw I have had an old "plastic" jig saw for over 35 years and hated to use it because it would skip all over the place and didn't cut well. We were visiting a friend recently and he showed me this saw and I was impressed so I bought one and it is great. The weight of the saw is more substantial than my old saw and it cuts like a dream. The blades are easy to change and the dust blower works great. True, it would be nice to have a light to make cutting easier, but I can live without the light because the saw does everything else I need it to do with minimal effort.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works great. Easy to use. Easy to change blades. Long cord. Heavy duty. The only problem is me. I'm not used to a saw that will actually cut such sharp turns. Nice tool.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good product I bought this a couple weeks ago so my use is limited. My first project involved cutting patterns in 30 year old 7/8 inch thick oak. The saw performed very well and certainly met me expectations. Even though I purchased a scroll blade, the one supplied with the saw did a great job. There was one workmanship issue I will have to fix. The snap washer that holds the blade guide wheel shafts in place fell off during first cut. I ultimately lost it trying to put it back on.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid Performer I put this saw through its paces and it has come up aces. Smooth and stead, straight cuts are a breeze. It is a little on the heavy side, but it helps with stability.
