Product Details

The Bosch Top-Handle Jig Saw provides a sturdy footplate for accuracy in the cut, as well as a 6.0-amp motor and variable-speed control. The sturdy motor produces up to 3,100 strokes per minute, with a 3/4 in. stroke length. The variable-speed dial controls the maximum speed, while the accelerator trigger regulates the operating speed. This jig saw is engineered with a low-vibration plunging design for cutting accuracy and smooth operation. It has a large heavy-gauge steel footplate. The multidirectional blade clamp delivers the superior grip of T-shank blades (but it does not accept U-shank blades). The toolless T-shank blade-change system makes blade insertion and removal quick. The tool has an always-on dust blower for max cut-line visibility and an ambidextrous lock-on button.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good product I bought this a couple weeks ago so my use is limited. My first project involved cutting patterns in 30 year old 7/8 inch thick oak. The saw performed very well and certainly met me expectations. Even though I purchased a scroll blade, the one supplied with the saw did a great job. There was one workmanship issue I will have to fix. The snap washer that holds the blade guide wheel shafts in place fell off during first cut. I ultimately lost it trying to put it back on.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from jig saw I am week end user. This so far has been a great little saw. I have shoulder issues and this saw does everything I need without a lot of weight. Like it a lot.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great power I had an old jigsaw that was probably 40 years old. It finally broke after years of work. It would cut, but I had to give it a push while it labored away slowly. My new Bosch is like a chainsaw by comparison. It is strong and I almost feel like I need to hold it back while it cuts away furiously. I am impressed with its power as well as its quick blade change system. This is a great jigsaw.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome cutting Had an old Craftsmen jigsaw began cutting 2x6 rafter tails for a pergola, cut 1, 1/2 painstakingly till the blade broke from too much pressure. Instead of going for more blades I went and compared jigsaws . Bought the Bocsh JS365 finished the other 12 rafters almost as fast as first 1,1/2. Great jigsaw , instead of dreading a jigsaw cut, I look forward to using my Bosch now.
