Rated 4.2 out of 5 by 32reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Good drilling power Bought this drill a month ago to use to drill into my concrete stoop to attach posts. Drilled 8 holes with no problem. Very powerful drill. The depth gauge rod needs to be sturdier because it vibrates back and forth when drilling. It also should not be made of plastic because it might get ground off on the end when it hits concrete. Rated 5 out of 5 by Above expectations After taking over 20 min to drill a 1/4inch hole in a cement wall in my renovated foundry condo with my usual 110v drill with carbide bit a while back, I "took the plunge" to buy a hammer drill for my newest project - mounting a shelving unit on the same wall. 1191VSRK. I feared I might have bought an underpowered tool compared to some on the market, but that fear disappeared after 6 second holes with next to no effort. Very comfortable and easy to use. Capital! Rated 2 out of 5 by Poor Quality The drill worked fine for small jobs, 1/2", 3/4" but as soon as I needed to drill a large hole the drill stripped out. I was about 2" into a 3" hole using a new hole saw when the gear stripped. Now drill makes a lot of noise but will stop drilling if any pressure is put on it. I the shop now for repairs. Rated 1 out of 5 by One Day - Hammer Action Quit Working Had an older version of this drill, but hammer action stopped working. I bought this drill yesterday to drill the same 1/4" holes in Class 5 Porcelain tile at work. It took 26 bits and 4 hours to drill only 22 holes! Hammer action again stopped about half-way thru. Could not complete the job, plan to return drill for refund and look for something else. Frustrated, aggravated. Probably fine as just a drill and for light jobs/soft materials, but for real work, look elsewhere. Gave poor rating for my intended use, would give it 4-5 stars for light work. October 23, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by It's not a BullDog, or a Brute. Don't abuse it. If you are a hobbyist, DIY guy, or just need it for small projects, it's a great tool. If you work in the construction industry like myself, and if you want a tool that can handle an 80-foot drop from a boom lift, (surviving without so much as a crack) outperforms all the other tools on the job site, comes with a great warranty, and will last a lifetime select from the Bulldog, or Brute Tough line of Bosch tools. You will NEVER be disappointed. September 23, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by good value I have used this drill a few times since purchase and so far so good except for one thing - the switch from drill to hammer mode moves on it's own now and then July 25, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Still a great drill My initial review was after I'd used it a couple of times as was based on my previous combo drill from another manufacturer. Just wanted to say the drillis still performing really well. Very glad I purchased this drill. July 25, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Remodel Drill I'm in the process of remodeling a house and needed a drill that could do it all; deck, cabinets, sub floor, concrete. Excellent torque and overall performance. A great value. June 25, 2014
