7-1/4 In Professional Duty Wire and Cable Staple Gun, Chrome is rated 2.1 out of 5 by 8.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Was excited until the ~20th staple. Now useless. I don't get it with these things. Solid metal and fits nicely in the hands, hence the 5 star reviews about "design" and "quality". While "ease of use" was at 5 starts hands down, initially -- after about the 20th staple it immediately went to zero stars, as the thing became useless. There is nothing to adjust on the stapler, so it's not like I have a wrong setting or anything. It.... just stopped working and there's nothing to even do about it. There are no noticeable bends, cracks, dings, nothing. It actually looks brand new. Now, I have to hold the staples and hammer them in with a hammer! Reminds me to just stick with the basics in the future, with regards to all "inventions".

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Only works in drywall This thing is terrible. It won't drive a staple into anything but drywall. I just tried it on plaster, molding, and plywood, and the staples bend and deform rather than sinking in even partially. My thinking is that maybe the hammer isn't centered behind the shafts of the staple so the force isn't distributed correctly. Maybe the staples themselves aren't up to the task, but I'm using genuine Arrow 5911 insulated staples, and the other reviews here seem to imply the gun is at fault. Going to be asking for a refund.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Bought a T-59 for a job; it lasted less than two hours After fewer than 50 staples driven, the stapler stopped working--not a jam, but a failure of the spring mechanism. Really disappointing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love my stapler! So, I've had my t59 since the late '90s. Purchased it through Milestek. I don't do a lot of cabling jobs, so mine has lasted for years. I've read the reviews on the newer version, and I wouldn't trade mine in for anything. That said, I find I have to order the insulated staples from online stores, cause no one carries them locally. For wiring and cabling jobs, there's no better tool, especially when combined with the insulated staple. For non-cabling jobs, where I am asked to attach a panel of some sort to a wall, is there a non-insulated staple I could use? Like the standard t50 staples? It would NOT ever be used for any sort of wiring.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Since I am not using T59 for wire tacking, can I use T50 (3/8-10mm or 1/2"-12 mm) staples instead? This stapler is durable and I have used it for years without problem.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from frusrtrated This WAS the best coax stapler on the market, but since the redesign with the larger opening/saddle the staples bend when shot into materials harder than pine and barley seat in drywall. I've tried to combine the front (please excuse my lack of individual component knowledge) of the old model with everything else from the new model and the gun won't even fire. I work for a large company with a lot of techs and the feeling is mutual. The picture above is of the older model and does not represent the current design. Please make the old model an option like the picture would indicate. I've tried to aquire old stock from sellers based on the picture they show, but they appear to be using the same photo you are. At our company we are stuck with you because the company provides the staplers and staples, but I'm begging you to help out the people in the field.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from New version does not work well I am a supervisor for a cable company and we have used these for years. The last couple of orders we have received have problems. The staples do not come out straight, or sink fully on both sides consistenlty. We never used to have these issues, but not we do. Seems the older guns just worked much more consistently.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Doesn't Work Had an older one of these used for years worked great. Bought three of them last week and out of the three only one works. other two miss fire and wont drive staples. And it's really a pain trying to install wire on a latter and fight these things.
