- Product Description
Class 300 slip-on flanges connect with medium-pressure (300-999 psi) pipe and fittings. Slip-on flanges, typically with raised or flat faces, slip over pipe. These flanges are manufactured with an inside diameter slightly bigger than the pipe's outside diameter. The pipe slides through the flange and is welded on both sides. Type 304 stainless steel, a chromium-nickel material, resists corrosion caused by water, heat, saltwater, acids, minerals, and peaty soils. Type 316 stainless steel has a higher nickel content than 304 stainless, plus molybdenum, for even greater corrosion resistance.
