AMPROBE (R) PM51A Pocket - Basic Features Digital Multimeter is rated 4.1 out of 5 by 10.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy and efficient A pocket multimeter that allows the main tests, with a very good accuracy if compared with professional instruments.Battery consumption is minimal. Highly recommended.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Easy to Use and Effective A very compact multimeter with autoranging. Makes for simple, easy use, particularly the ability to move the selector dial with a thumb or finger one handed.
Date published: 2017-08-26
Rated 3 out of 5 by from convenient to carry, hard to use Nice. Fits in my shirt pocket. But when I want to measure something, I have to use my left hand to hold the black probe, my right hand to hold the red probe, and my prehensile tail to flip the switch. Oh, wait, I don't have one of those. Some nice little hands-free accessory wire clips would have been nice. try holding the leads in series with an LED to show current and you quickly get the picture.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excellent meter..... Small & compact, accurate (I compared to a Fluke 117), good price, no complaints.Great for quick measurements.
Date published: 2016-05-01
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Small but packs a lot. Autorange feature is nice in this price range. Cap and diode test. Only missing amp test.
Date published: 2013-04-20
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Rotary dial DOA This could be a great little multimeter, but the rotary dial didn't work properly - the registration notches where it comes to rest were apparently mis-aligned. To get the expected functionality, I had to hold the dial still in a slightly off-center position, by maybe 10 degrees CCW or so.I've had issues previously with the (linear slide) mode dial being unreliable on another brand of pocket multimeter. I am still looking for one that will work reliably.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good low cost multimeter This multimeter is easy to use and accomplished the job each time it was used. It is reasonably priced for the handyman without complicated electrical issues.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A MUST HAVE FOR EVERY HANDYMAN'S TOOL BOX , NOTHING ELSE WILL DO!!! I was given one of the new Amprobe PM51A pocket digital multimeter by an electricain friend/neighbor who felt that I could really benefit from an upgrade from the bargain bin model that I have had and used for sometime now.The tool is a god send and I will not let anyone borrow it out of my sight so that it does'nt disappear some how.The PM51 is loaded with some may great features that it would take to long to list them all with out forgetting something, you just have to pick one up and you won'tput it back without purchasing at least one or two for yourself I guarantee it.
