Rated 5 out of 5 by from No More Oil! This skimmer makes a belt-type skimmer look like child's play. Works great and easy to install. Two things: 1# I didn't know the washer wire-tied to the tube was on purpose; it wasn't mentioned in the instructions nor did my common sense make sense of it so took it off #and it still works, but I bet it'd work better with the washer attached, i.e., it would probably pull up less coolant) and 2) An optional or built in timer would be highly beneficial. We have to wire in a timer to turn this thing on for up to 15 minutes once a night because it's so efficient. The old belt-type skimmer ran for hours on end with hardly a fraction of the skimming power of this one in 15 minutes. I'm extremely impressed.Other than that, it's a good/solid design and easy to attach to the machine. Note that you will need to modify your tank/machine to fit the tube entry/exit points and drill/tap some mounting holes.
