Motion-activated paper towel dispensers offer hands-free dispensing to help improve hygiene and reduce paper consumption by dispensing measured amounts of paper towels. These automatic dispensers have infrared sensors that detect the presence of hands for touch-free operation. Users move their hands near the sensor to dispense towels and to avoid touching the dispenser handle or operating with their hands. Automated dispensers are proprietary and are designed to be used with compatible hardwound paper towels.
