These indoor air handlers fasten to a wall (typically near the ceiling) to blow cooled or heated air into a room or area. Multiple air handlers can be connected to an outdoor condenser of sufficient capacity to form a multizone mini-split system for cooling more than one room. Compared to ceiling-mount air handlers, these wall-mount air handlers are usually easier to reach for installation, cleaning, and maintenance.
