- Product Description
Fan-powered humidifiers add more moisture to indoor air than bypass humidifiers. They also can fit into smaller spaces than bypass humidifiers because they do not require a bypass duct. These units have a fan that pushes air across the humidifiers' water tray. The air absorbs the water as it moves across the tray, and the HVAC system circulates the humidified air into the surrounding area. Fan-powered duct-mount humidifiers require the HVAC system to be running in order to operate, but they do not require the building's furnace to be running.
