Portable Band Saws
Portable band saws (sometimes called portabands) use a blade that rotates around two wheels to cut pipe, threaded rod, and other structural elements. These handheld tools can be brought to the workpiece and can be maneuvered to make the required cut. Portable band saws make clean cuts and maintain good edges when cutting threaded rod. They are used by electricians, plumbers, and other tradespeople. Corded portable band saws plug into a wired outlet and provide consistent power output for long periods of time. Cordless saws are battery-operated so they can be used away from outlets and don't have a cord to tangle or trip over.
