How can you continue to Access your eProcurement connection without interruptions?

To access the new Grainger.com® without interruption, you will need to configure settings for the following:

• Internal Proxy Servers - These servers make internet requests on behalf of employees inside an entity and are used to filter or limit what resources can be accessed via an entity's network.
• Network Firewall - Firewalls limit access to network traffic outside of a network. The usual configuration of a firewall is to disallow all traffic and whitelist (or allow access to) certain IP/ports on outside networks.

Depending on how your network is configured, you may need to modify configuration in one or both of these areas.

Internal Proxy Servers

Many customers use internal filtering proxy servers to limit access to data on the internet from their networks. The two ways to limit traffic through an internal proxy server are by domain/port or by IP/port.

We recommend limiting by domain/port, as we use a Content Delivery Network (CDN) to deliver images and PDFs from the website. These CDNs store content closer to you to allow reduced download time of these items to your browsers.

The domains that we currently require to allow downloads from Grainger.com^®, in addition to the ones you may have already enabled, are the following:

Grainger uses a content delivery network to optimize the delivery of images, PDFs and other content to our customers. This means that our domain, Grainger.com^®, may resolve to one of a number of IP addresses that serve content across the country.
