Soldering and desoldering stations are benchtop machines with controls that adjust the temperature of soldering and desoldering tools. Soldering stations are used with compatible tools to apply solder; desoldering stations work with compatible tools to remove solder. Combination soldering, desoldering and hot-air rework stations allow multiple soldering and desoldering tools to be connected for simultaneous use.

Resistance Soldering Stations
These resistance-soldering stations use an electric current that transfers heat to the tip of the handpiece to solder copper joints. Traditional soldering stations take time to generate heat, but these stations generate heat instantaneously. They have a carbon-tipped plier-, tweezer-, or probe-style handpiece.
