MIG (metal inert gas) wire feeders have drive rolls that feed electrode wire from a spool through the gun liner and into the gun nozzle on a MIG gun. They also have wire guides that help ensure proper positioning as the wire is fed during welding. The wire feeders deliver the wire at a controlled speed.
